As Camp Director it is my distinct
pleasure to welcome you to the 2009
Stephen Collins Foster Summer Music Camps. Located on the
famed "Campus Beautiful" of
Eastern Kentucky University
in Richmond, Kentucky, the Stephen Collins Foster Summer Music Camps have
provided outstanding musical and social experiences to the young
musicians of the Commonwealth and the nation for 73 years. The
seventy-fourth season promises to be no exception to the tradition
that has made the Stephen Collins Foster Summer Music Camps so special to those who have
attended. Whether you are an instrumentalist, pianist, or vocalist,
we promise that you will not go home without capturing some of the
